Availability can be increased/ decreased for a session type in a time slot by changing the capacity of instructors in that particular time slot. 

Follow the steps given below to increase/ decrease capacity of instructors for any session type:

  1. Go to the ‘Settings’ section from the toolbar on the left side of the screen. 

  2. Open the ‘Availability’ tab under the ‘Appointment settings’ section.

  3. Choose the ‘Session Type View’ from the drop down menu(left most amongst the drop down menus) above the table where availability is shown. 

  4. Find the session type and date for which capacity needs to be increased/decreased. 

  5. Click on the preexisting availability and a pop up will appear. 

  6. Click on the edit button on the top right corner of this window to increase/ decrease the capacity in that time slot. Doing this will increase/decrease the availability for that specific session type in that time slot accordingly.


If you’re looking to reduce the number of seats available at any given time, you can simply add in dummy sessions at that time to reduce the number of available slots by 1 (for every dummy session added). To add dummy sessions:

  1. Go to the ‘Calendar’ section from the toolbar on the left side of the screen.

  2. Scroll to the date/time that you would like to remove the seat

  3. Select the seat that you want to reduce/block.

  4. Enter a session type and leave the student section blank.

  5. Click on ‘Save’

  6. The system will confirm if you’d like to add a session with no student. Click on ‘Confirm’.

  7. The system has now added a dummy session and removed one available seat from the total number of seats available at that time.
