Follow the steps given below to modify booking rules for a center: 

  1. Go to ’Settings’ from the toolbar appearing on the left side of the screen.

  1. Open the ‘Booking Rules’ tab under the ‘Appointment Settings’ section.

  2. Select the ‘Center’ for which booking rules need to be configured.

  1. Click on ‘Lead and cancellation settings’.

  2. Once clicked, the section will expand to show the various settings available at your disposal. 

Lead and cancellation settings

Lead and cancellation settings allow you to avoid last-minute uncertainties or no-shows. You can set the following things up in the lead and cancellation settings.

  1. Minimum Schedule Notice

    • Lead time can be configured using this setting. This setting governs how much time in advance bookings can be made before the session starts.

    • Users can set minimum schedule notices in minutes, hours or days.

    • For example: If this is set to 30 minutes, then guardians can only book sessions for students 30 minutes before the start of a session.

  2. How far in advance this service can be booked

    • This setting governs how many days in advance guardians can see the availability schedule of the center and book for.

    • For example: If this is set to 30 days, then your guardians will be able to see availability and book sessions till 30 days from now.

  3. Minimum Cancellation Notice

    • This setting governs how much time in advance bookings can be canceled before the session starts.

    • For example: If this is set to 30 minutes, then a guardian will not be able to cancel a session after 1:30 PM if their appointment is at 2:00 PM.

    • Users can set minimum cancellation notices in minutes, hours or days.

    • To set a fixed minimum cancellation time, select fixed from the drop-down menu on the right.

    • Enter the time in the space provided to set a minimum cancellation time. 

  4. Minimum Reschedule Notice

    • This setting governs how much time in advance bookings can be rescheduled before the session starts.

    • For example: If this is set to 30 minutes, then a guardian will not be able to reschedule a session after 1:30 PM if their appointment is at 2:00 PM.

    • This can be kept the same as the minimum cancellation time or set differently according to preference.

  1. Enter the values of preference in respective fields to configure these settings. 

  2. Click on ‘Save’ to save changes.
